Nanna Name Meaning

Nanna is a girl’s name of Old Norse origin, which translates to “daring,” “brave,” or “mother of the brave." According to Old Norse tales, Nanna was the name of the wife of the Norse god Baldr. Loki, the master of all things mayhem and mischief, would later lure Baldr right into his death trap. Although Nanna was said to succumb to her sorrows in the end, baby will hopefully be inspired to brace themselves for every battle, knowing there'll be better days to come.
