Man Kisses Fish And Goes Into Cardiac Arrest
When the fish was not ready for the kiss!
Did you know that kissing a fish can be deadly at times? Well, this is a lesson that a fisherman learnt when he almost died after he kissed his catch!
This bizarre incident can make you wonder as to how it even took place, as it seems to be so impractical! After all, how can a fish go through the man's mouth and get stuck in the airway, making the man almost lose his life!
Read on to know more about the bizarre incident...

The Fisherman Was Proud Of His Catch…
The British fisherman named Sam Quilliam was so proud of his catch that he could not hold on to his excitement any longer and hence kissed the fish! Apparently, the fish was a six-inch Dover sole. The moment he did it, his life flashed before his eyes.

It All Happened In A Fraction Of A Second…
According to reports, the fish wriggled out of his hands and jumped down his throat and in no time, it blocked his airway passage. Within no time, the 28-year-old fisherman experienced a cardiac arrest.

The Paramedics Worked On Getting The Fish Out…
The paramedic took no time in saving the young man and, at the same time, as he had to ensure that the airway passage should not get damaged with the fins of the fish, the paramedic tried the best to remove the fish out, which still seemed to be alive.

The Doctor Revealed…
"I was acutely aware that I only had one attempt at getting this right as if I lost grip or a piece broke off and slid further out of sight, then there was nothing more I could have done to retrieve the obstruction. It was clear that we needed to get the fish out or this patient was not going to survive the short journey to Royal Bournemouth Hospital."

Luckily, The Fish Was Removed…
The doctor who handled the case removed the fish's barbs and gills that had got stuck in the airway. Thankfully, he was able to extract the fish in one piece finally and, luckily, the paramedic was able to restart Quilliam's heart, and he has recovered from the accident.
