What happens if you drink your first cup of coffee in the morning? Well, cortisol is a stress hormone and it tends to be at its peaks between 8am and 9am for most of us. If you drink coffee at that time, your stress levels may increase!

Caffeine may boost cortisol levels and when your natural cortisol levels are high, is drinking coffee a wise decision? Your jitters will increase if you drink coffee between 8-9am.
