What you'll need: Water, lemons, parsley grains and baking soda.
How to prepare: First wash the lemons using baking soda. Using baking soda to wash the lemons would ensure that the bacteria on them is totally eliminated.

Now, heat the water and allow it to cool. Add pieces of lemon and parsley in the water. Put a lid on it and place it in your refrigerator. Drink a cup of this mixture daily. Note: First, consult your doctor before trying this.

The fibre content in certain fruits, lentils and vegetables can help lower LDL cholesterol. Consume fiber-rich foods regularly.

Oats
Even oatmeal contains soluble fibre and is good for health. Also, studies suggest that eating oats regularly could lower your LDL levels up to 25%.

Oranges
Certain studies say that orange juice can lower bad cholesterol levels and boost good cholesterol levels.

Fish

Eating nuts like walnuts, almonds and peanuts can surely help in lowering cholesterol. Also as these nuts contain many nutrients, your health gets better.

Wine
Red wine contains antioxidants and offers several health benefits when consumed in moderation. But still, if you cross the limits, alcohol offers no health benefits and it is better to stay away from it.

Stay Active
Staying physically active can maintain healthy cholesterol levels. Ensure that you embrace some activity like walking or running.
