Tip #1
Start eating foods rich in fibre before your period. This can prevent constipation before your due date.

Avoid foods that contain too much of salt and refined sugars. Stay away from processed foods before your period. They may affect both digestion and hormones.

Tip #3
Ensure that you get enough physical activity as it can boost digestion.

Tip #4
Both alcohol and caffeine affect digestion and therefore, avoid both before your period.

Tip #5
Drink sufficient water as water has its own role in regulating digestion.

Beans and peas can reduce the chances of constipation. They can pass through your digestive system easily. Include them to your diet.
