The Wine & Cheese Diet Works!
Did you ever think that you could have diet with just wine and cheese? But the fact of the matter is that if you want to lose weight, this diet can work wonders for you. Do not mistake to think this diet to be a fad diet. The fact of the matter is that, both cheese and wine are very healthy for your body. In fact most doctors advise you to have a glass of wine every day to keep your heart healthy. Cheese is a dairy product that is rich in tons of nutrients.
The 3 Day Wine & Cheese Diet:

It is believed that having wine, cheese and bread for 3 days can help you lose up to 3 to 4 kgs. It is ideal to try this on a weekend so that you are not doing too much strenuous work while being on this severe diet.
Breakfast: 2 slices of cheese (100 grams), 1 slice of brown bread and 1 glass of dry white wine.
Lunch: 2.5 slices of cheese (120 grams), 2 slices of brown bread, a bowl of low calorie fruits and 1 glass of white wine.
Supper: 1 slice of cheese (75 grams), 2 slices of brown bread and 1 glass of red wine.
Why Does The Wine & Cheese Diet Work?
The question is, why this diet will work to lose weight. Have you seen how slim the French people are? The French literally survive on wine and cheese. There are over 200 varieties of wine and cheese that come from different districts of France. An average French meal consists of at least 5-6 types of cheese and 2 wines.
There are some very scientific reasons of why the wine and cheese diet is healthy.
Protein Rich: Cheese is one of the richest source of proteins for vegetarians. It is a dairy product that contain the highest amount of milk proteins. The fat content of cheese is not as high as butter or ghee. And having low fat cheese makes it even more healthier. Moreover, cheese is a storehouse of calcium present in the milk.
Wine: This alcoholic beverage has been declared as heart healthy. It also gives you a glowing and clear skin. Wine is basically fermented grapes, so its full of natural sugars. So technically, you are not consuming any artificial sugar.
Bread: The wholegrain or brown bread that you eat can give you the share of carbohydrates that you need for the day.
Fruits: Fruits ensure that you don't miss out on minerals and vitamins. They also give some much needed fibre to lose weight.
