Barbara Palvin In Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Six Weeks After Birth
Six weeks ago, Barbara Palvin became a mother. On Sunday evening, she was back in angel wings.
The Hungarian model walked in the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on 18 October at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California, about six weeks after welcoming daughter Sylvie with husband Dylan Sprouse on 7 September. Sprouse watched from the front row.
The couple confirmed the pregnancy only in May, when Palvin chose the Cannes Film Festival to show her baby bump on the red carpet. Five months later, the runway has become the next chapter in a very public year.
Barbara Palvin's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Return, In Detail
Reports describe a sweeping bronze gown and a silver mini dress with sculpted angel wings. The show also featured performances by Megan Thee Stallion, Tate McRae, Katseye and Megan Moroney. It was Palvin's sixth time on the Victoria's Secret runway, after a debut in 2012 at the age of 19. In 2019, she became the brand's first Hungarian Angel.
Backstage, Palvin joked that her main hope was simply not to fall. She has also described the first weeks of motherhood as a roller coaster, as she and Sprouse learn parenting together. Her 33rd birthday on 8 October was her first as a mother.
The Announcement That Set Fans Talking
On Friday, 16 October, Victoria's Secret revealed her return with a video of Palvin beside a baby stroller tagged angel on board. Sprouse responded on Instagram with a note of pride, calling his wife "Built different" and saying he did not know where she finds the energy.
Sprouse has become a fixture of these evenings. In 2024, he held up cardboard cutouts of the couple's pets, a French bulldog and a cat, to make her smile from the audience. The front row, it seems, is now a family tradition.
Not The First Time She Has Walked Through A Challenge
Palvin's 2025 appearance came with its own backstory. She walked the New York show with a broken foot, weeks after the injury, and months after surgery for endometriosis, a condition she spoke about publicly last year. Sprouse wore yellow ribbon pins that night to raise awareness for the condition.
Pregnancy, Body Image And The Pressure To Bounce Back
Palvin has been open about the emotional side of pregnancy. On Sprouse's Wildmen podcast, she said she began spiralling as the number on the scale rose, an anxiety she linked to more than 20 years of scrutiny over her body in modelling. Sprouse, she said, kept reminding her that they were creating life.
That context matters when a headline says weeks after giving birth. Such framing can quietly invite a bounce-back narrative, even though postpartum recovery differs widely from one person to the next and depends on factors such as the type of delivery, sleep, support at home and any complications.
Palvin's runway return is one woman's story, shaped by a professional commitment, a support system and her own sense of readiness. It is not a benchmark for anyone else. For new mothers watching at home, the more useful takeaway may be the least glamorous one: recovery has no fixed schedule, and a doctor's guidance matters more than any headline.
