Unusual Signs That Say You Are Not Drinking Enough Water
Time and again, we are advised to drink an optimum level of water every day, so obviously, it is very much essential to remain healthy! Did you know about certain unusual signs of dehydration?

If you do not consume enough water, the tissues and cells of various organs in the body can get dehydrated, causing a number of health complications.

So, one must ensure that they drink enough water, which is about 2 litres per day that is required for an average adult.
Now, most of us would know about some of the common signs of dehydration, which are fatigue, dryness of the mouth, dizziness, etc.
So, here is a list of certain unusual signs that say you are not drinking enough water, take a look.

1. Bad Breath

Bad breath may not be related to your oral hygiene at all, in fact it is one of the signs of dehydration, as drinking less water can decrease the production of saliva, causing bad breath.
2. Dry Skin

Another unusual sign of dehydration is dry skin, which is normally mistaken for a skin issue. However, if your body doesn't get enough water, your skin can turn dry and flaky.
3. Muscle Cramps

When your body is not getting enough water, the muscles and tissues get dehydrated, leading to cramping of the muscles, which is often seen in people who workout a lot.
4. Fever

Yes, fever can also be another surprising sign of dehydration, as your immune system and cells become weaker, when they do not receive enough of water, losing their ability to fight diseases.
5. Food Cravings

If you notice that you are craving for food, especially sweets, constantly, it could mean that your blood glucose level might be low, which is another sign of dehydration.
6. Headache

When you do not drink enough water, the blood supply from the heart to your brain decreases, causing nagging headaches, and it also holds true for when you do not eat enough and avoid eating at the right time!
7. Lack Of Concentration

If you are experiencing lack of concentration and restlessness often, it could mean that your brain is not receiving enough oxygen due to dehydration. Hence, it is important you replenish yourself by drinking water often during the day.
