Taking a portion of pineapple every day helps in inducing labour. But, be cautious about taking a pineapple in the early stages of pregnancy, as it may cause a possible miscarriage.

Garlic
Garlic is one of the time-tested Ayurvedic herbs used for inducing labour. Garlic helps in stimulating the bowel, which thereby triggers the contraction of uterus and in turn causes labour.

You can take a good amount of garlic in your diet for inducing labour. But, be careful, as too much of garlic can cause diarrhoea as well. You could check with your doctor first before taking this.

Be cautious about using too much of castor oil, as it may cause dehydration in the mother-to-be. Avoid taking more than 60 mL of castor oil.
