A tea made of both these herbs serves as an incredible tool to relax your mind and body. It has been used as a medicine to treat insomnia for decades.

While there are other herbal teas that are known to act as sedatives, chamomile and lavender tea is considered to be the most effective of the lot.
In this article, we at Boldsky will be sharing with you the quantity of ingredients required and the recipe to prepare this magical tea.
Ingredients:

1 teaspoon of chamomile buds
1 teaspoon of lavender buds
1 cup of hot water
1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
Method Of Preparation:
Put the chamomile and lavender buds in a cup. Then, pour hot water in it. Let the buds steep in hot water for about 15-20 minutes. Then use a strainer to remove the buds. Add a teaspoon of honey for taste.

Drinking this tea before sleep will promote relaxation and slow the activity of your nervous system. In other words, it will help you sleep like a baby.
