Love is pretty simple. But Valentine's Day makes couples go out of their way to plan the perfect day for each other. They buy expensive gifts, book the posh hotel and order the priciest of wines just to prove their love! When in love, every day is supposed to be special. There are several expenses in a year. Birthdays, anniversaries, ceremonies and whatnot. Add Valentine's Day to the list and you have another reason for that burning hole in your pocket. Don't get us wrong. We love red! But it's just pathetic to see the whole town in red. The roses are red, dresses are red and even some of the guys are dressed in red! Valentine's day is a stupid holiday where nearly every couple is dressed in red.

Pubs Are Only For Couples

This is the greatest disservice to singles! Most of the clubs and pubs have a couple's theme night and the singles just have to drink and watch on in silence. There are some pubs which just turn away the singles, not even allowing them inside for a drink.

Cupid Looks Stupid!

Cupid is mainly associated with Valentine's day, as he is the Roman God of love. Though he is usually shown as a small, naked baby with a bow and arrow, in actuality it is a naked, man-child with wings sprouting out of his back. Valentine's Day is a farce which is celebrated world over with great pomp and show.
