Here are some more facts about the comparative study conducted on exercise and hot water baths.

As a apart of the study, researchers compared two groups of people. The first group was involved in a bicycle ride for one hour whereas the second group simply spent an hour in hot water bath (104 degrees F).

Researchers focused more on raising the body's temperature. Both of the activities do the same. But what surprised researchers was that the hot water bath was able to burn almost 130 calories!

You will be able to burn roughly around 130 calories if you go for a walk for 30 minutes. Of course, cycling burns more calories than the hot bath.

This study also reveals that hot water baths could also reduce the blood sugar levels!

Another interesting finding was that hot water baths also seem to give the anti-inflammatory effect that exercise gives!
