If there is a problem with the colour of menstrual blood and the colour does not appear normal then there are chances that you might be suffering from certain health issues. So what does your menstrual blood colour indicate?

In spite of everything being normal, suddenly one day you get black menstrual blood; so is black menstrual blood colour bad? We tend to just ignore it thinking it to be normal and think that it would be fine the next month.
There are a few women who also have menstruation blood colour as dark brown to slightly orange colour too. What does it mean if your period blood is brown in colour? If the problem continues for long it might also lead to other serious health issues and might lead to infertility as well.

1. Bright Red Blood:
If your period blood is bright red in colour then it is absolutely normal and there is no need to worry. Most women experience it at the beginning of their menstrual cycle. However, if the flow is excessive and there are extra painful cramps, it could be due to a ruptured ovarian cyst.

2. Brown Blood:
If the menstrual blood appears brown then it is due to the high body temperature. It needs to be taken care of, else it can affect one's fertility as well.

3. Black Blood:
Women generally experience black blood colour towards the end of their period cycle. This is the blood that gets stored for long. It is common among women suffering from endometriosis.

4. Blood Clotting:
A bit of blood clotting during menstruation is fine but when the clotting is excessive and is frequent then it is a sign that the woman has fibroids. It can lead to serious problems if not taken care of on time. If it persists for long then it is better to get it checked.

5. Pinkish Menstrual Blood:
If your menstrual blood colour is slightly pinkish in colour then it signifies that your body lacks in iron and that you are not having a balanced diet. Also it indicates that you might be suffering from digestion problems too.

6.Frequent Changes In Blood Colour:
When the menstrual blood colour changes frequently, it is an indication that there is a certain hormonal imbalance. This can be caused due to stress, changes in lifestyle and diet as well.
