We all know that for a healthy body, we need to consume certain vitamins and minerals. These are required by the body to carry out numerous functions, but the body can't manufacture on its own in adequate quantities. A combination of calcium, vitamins D and K, magnesium and phosphorus shields your bones against breaks. Before taking iodine supplements, check with your doctor as very little or too much iodine in your body can cause hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism. So be careful with your iodine intake.
Iron supplements can damage the liver and other organs like the pancreas and the heart. So consult a doctor and find out if at all you really need to take iron supplements.
Vitamin B6 supplements have been found to cause abnormal sensations in the nerves. Hence, before taking any of these supplements please consult your doctor.
