People who suffer form insomnia try many methods and even medications but health experts say that the easiest way to fall asleep is drinking warm milk!

But new studies say that tryptophan can make you fall asleep and enter the first phase of sleep fast. It is good to eat food that contains both protein and carbs in ideal proportions to sleep well.

Nowadays, insomnia has become a global issue due to the fast and hectic lifestyles and bad eating habits. In some cases, insomnia could also be a result of medication or certain other health disorders.

Reduce Caffeine Intake
Caffeine impacts your sleep patterns, the quality of your sleep and your ability to fall asleep. Reduce your intake especially after noon.

Foods
Consume sleep promoting foods like milk and other dairy products. Grains, seeds, nuts and cheese are also some examples.

Temprature
Maintain the right temperature in your sleeping space. Too warm or too cold surroundings may make it tough to fall asleep.

Quit Smoking
If you love to fall asleep on time, either quit smoking or avoid smoking after evening. Nicotine is a stimulant which affects your ability to fall asleep.

Avoid Bluelight
Avoid blue light from your gadgets or devices or even appliances. It impacts the sleep hormones in your body. Stay away from gadgets and television.

Avoid Liquor
Though alcohol seems to make you fall asleep, it robs theteh quality of sleep and makes you wake up tired. In the long run, it hampers your sleep quality and immunity. Therefore, stay away from it.

Avoid Spicy Foods
It is better to avoid eating spicy meals just before sleep especially if you are suffering from insomnia.
