7 Most Important Medical Tests Every Woman Should Get!
Are you a woman who is always busy with your career or family and do not find much time to take care of yourself?

Although most disorders affect both sexes, there are a few ailments that are specific to women; and it is important for a woman to be aware of these disorders.
Many a times, women are affected with certain serious illnesses; however, since the symptoms are not too pronounced, women tend to ignore them, thus making way for a full-blown disorder that could potentially be fatal!
So, it is always better to keep getting yourself tested from time to time.
Have a look at some of the most important medical tests that every woman must get done at regular intervals.

1. Cervical Cancer Test
A woman between the ages of 21 and 65 must get herself tested for cervical cancer, at least once every 3-5 years, as cervical cancer is one of the most common type of cancers that is found in women.

2. Breast Cancer Screening
Women between the ages of 35 and 75 must keep getting regular mammograms or breast cancer screenings done to eliminate the threat of this deadly disease.

3. Bone Mineral Density Test
This test is usually done for women above the age of 40 years to check if they are at a risk of osteoporosis, which is a common bone disorder that is seen in women.

4. Colonoscopy
This test is done to check for the risk of colon cancer and to detect it at the early stages. This is done usually for women between the ages of 40 and 50 years.

5. PCOD Screening
This test can be taken by women at any age, after they have started their menstruation, in order to find out if they have cysts in their ovaries or not, which may cause menstrual problems.

6. Fertility Checkup
This test can be taken be all women who are planning on starting a family. The test usually involves the screening of their uterus and ovaries to check if they have malfunctions.

7. Diabetes Test
This test can be taken by women above the age of 45 years to check their blood sugar levels and to determine if they are at the risk of developing diabetes.
