Typhoid fever is caused by bacterial infection in the bloodstream and intestinal tract. The bacterium responsible for causing typhoid fever is called Salmonella typhi. Any idea how you could affected by this bacterium?

Soak a cotton cloth into room temperature water, wring it well and place it on the forehead of the patient.
2. Carom Seeds & Ashoka Tree:
This is one of the herbal health care tips to follow when you have a typhoid fever. Soak a few carom seeds and thin branches of Ashoka tree in half a litre of water. Keep it overnight and strain it in the morning. Let the patient have this solution 3-4 times in a day.
3. Drink Boiled Water Often:
Typhoid causes diarrhoea which can make you feel dehydrated. Keeping yourself hydrated is very important when you're suffering from a typhoid fever. Boil drinking water to avoid further infection. You should drink 8-10 glasses of water each day to avoid dehydration.
4. Dry Plum & Raisins:
Soak 4 dry plums and 10 raisins in a glass of water overnight. Strain it and take little sips of this water throughout the day. Don't throw away the raisins and plum. Chew them. To reduce high body temperature, this works wonders.
5. Apple Cider Vinegar:
To reduce body temperature and chance of diarrhoea during typhoid, this remedy helps a lot. Make a solution of half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and a few drops of honey into a glass of water. Have it for a week before the meals.
6. Watermelon Juice:
This is one of the best health care tips to follow when you have a typhoid fever. Watermelon not only cures high fever but also removes the bacteria completely. A glass of this juice when had every day can help cure typhoid fever to a great extent.
7. Garlic:
Garlic is a rich source of antimicrobial properties that not only fight against the typhoid bacteria but also help build a shield to protect you from further infection. Eat 2 garlic cloves every day on an empty stomach or you can use it in your soups or curries.
8. Orange & Sweet Lime Juice:

9. Basil:
