Most of us know someone who has suffered from the fatal consequences of cancer and we do realize how devastating the effects of this deadly disorder can be!
Cancer is a disease in which there is an abnormal multiplication of cancerous cells, that eventually destroy the tissues and organs.
Some of the most common types of cancer are breast cancer, colon cancer, blood cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer and a few others.
Each year, thousands of people lose their lives to cancer; and even with medical advancements, a definitive cure for cancer hasn't been found.
Naturally, the very thought of cancer can fill people with dread and hopelessness.

The rate of cancer related deaths was decreased by 23% between 1991 to 2012 and has been decreasing steadily ever since.

Cancer related deaths in children is decreased by about 2% per year in a decade and decreased by about 1.4% in women.

If detected and treated in the early stages, the survival rate for breast cancer patients is a whooping 89%!
