Foods To Cure Hangover Instantly

We never got to know what went into his concoction, but what we do know is that it instantly cured his master. Well, we too have some knowledge regarding foods to cure hangovers and can surely put together certain ingredients to bring relief to ourselves.
It would be good to know about certain methods to avoid a hangover. It is important to know that alcohol dehydrates the body to a great extent. In order to counter the effects of dehydration, it would be a good idea to intersperse hydrating foods with drinks. Another effective way of preventing a hangover would be to line the stomach adequately with something healthy, like milk.

Coconut water:
Many people head straight for sports drinks to help relieve a hangover. It sure is packed with electrolytes and helps hydrate the body but a better alternative would be coconut water. It is natural and safe and has just the right things your body needs in such times.

Banana:

Eggs:
An egg is a meal in itself. It has all the vitamins and minerals and the capacity to soak up toxins left behind by a hangover. It happens to be one of the best foods to cure hangovers. So make sure it is eggs for breakfast.

Green tea:
Loaded with antioxidants, green tea helps keep the organs healthy. So when you are going through those hangover periods, sip on green tea. You can add rosemary or lavender to your tea to give relief to your tummy.

Peppermint tea:
Peppermint is a natural digestive aid which helps to relieve stomach tensions and bloating. Brew yourself a cup of hot peppermint tea to ease your hangover.

Toast:
Go for the whole wheat toast which is packed with antioxidants and B vitamins. This forms one of the favourite carb foods to relieve a hangover.

Soup:
A hot, steaming bowl full of soup would be great to get you back on your feet. The stomach will be fine and the headache will be gone. The best choice would be tomato soup.

Lime:
After a night of heavy drinking, your head is sure to ache and the stomach would be churning. Calm it down by a glass of lukewarm water with the juice of half a lemon. To add on to the benefits, add a spoon of honey.

Honey:
Honey should be the choice in ways more than one. You can also spread honey on your toast. If you have a sweet tooth, go ahead and relieve your hangover with this natural sweetener.

Mushrooms:
Mushrooms are packed with antioxidants and are a good source of B vitamins. This helps the liver in the detoxification process and becomes a good choice for foods to cure hangovers.
