Yoga Exercises To Calm Down Anger
We have all been subject to anger issues at some point in our life. For some people anger management issues or hot temper is part of their personality. For others, circumstances may force them into a high temper. Empowering anger gives you a positive thrust to do manage the cause. But, disempowering anger nurtures fear and deep bitterness in its core and is harder to get rid of.

One of the best methods is to use yoga to control anger.

Power yoga

Sun salutation
Perhaps the most famous among all yoga exercises for anger control is the sun salutation or even half sun salutation. These exercises require the concentration of body and mind and will help to disperse off anger.
The child pose
This is a relaxing technique reminiscent of a child in a comfortable position. Kneel on all fours and push back your body with arms on the side and head resting on the ground. This is one among yoga exercises for anger control.
Plank pose
This is another position in yoga to control anger. It is basically a push-up position where the hands are held shoulder width apart and you push-up your body using your hands and glut. It is very useful in getting rid of nasty tempers.
Relaxation breath
In this yoga to control anger, lie comfortably on your back and place your right hand on your chest and left hand on your abdomen. Breath in and out so that only the right hand move.
The woodchopper pose
When your anger demands violent action this is the best position in yoga control anger. Stand with your feet apart and knees slightly bent. Lace your fingers above your head and bring them down hard as though chopping wood.
Scissor kicks
In this position of yoga control for anger, lie on your back with your hands behind your head and legs straight. Raise the left leg and lift your right shoulder towards it. Repeat on the other side and continues for a few minutes.
Three part breath
This is a normal breathing technique used in yoga to control anger. It is done by sitting tall and inhaling deeply, first into your abdomen, then to your rib cage and finally into the chest and throat.
Savasana
Being relaxing position, this is the best part of yoga to control anger. All you need to do is to lie on your back, relax your muscles with arms on the sides and palm facing upwards and concentrate only on your breathing.
