Blood sugar in control: Diabetes and kidney health are closely related. Maximum diabetic patients are known to develop kidney problems. Maintaining healthy blood sugar levels is one of the ways to keep kidneys healthy.

Lots of water: An adequate intake of fluids ensures that the kidneys are able to function smoothly. Too little water and fluids can put unnecessary pressure on the kidneys leading to health problems.
