7 Common Workout Mistakes You Must Completely Avoid!
Do you often feel that you need to start following a regular fitness routine in order to stay toned and healthy?
Do you feel the need to lose some kilos or build muscles? If yes, then it is a really good start because fitness is very important if you want to maintain a good mind and body.
Exercise does not just mean that a person indulging in it is doing it only because he/she wants to lose weight or build muscles, it can simply mean that the individual uses workout as a means to de-stress as well!
A group of hormones, known as endorphins, get released in the body during and after any form of an exercise; and these endorphins are proven to reduce conditions like stress, depression, anxiety and even body pain.
Working out at the gym, running, cycling, swimming, dancing, and whatever it may be, can be a great way to stay fit, healthy and happy.
However, many a times, especially when we are new to certain forms of working out, we may be making a few mistakes that might cause a serious damage to our muscles.
Have a look at some of the common workout mistakes that should to be avoided, in this article.

1. Over-doing It
Many a times, in order to attain our fitness goals, we tend to involve in over-exercising, causing damage to our muscles, which may result in body pain, sprains, fractures, etc.

2. Skipping Warm-ups
It is very important to warm-up before starting any kind of a workout session, at least for 5 minutes. Warm-ups help in preparing your body for the intense workout session that is going to follow by loosening up your muscles.

3. Avoiding Stretches
One must always do some stretches after a workout session is over, in order to help the muscles relax, as they tend to get stiffer during the workouts. Not stretching can result in a muscle damage in the longer run.

4. Not Tracking Progress
If you are serious about attaining your fitness goals, it is important to keep a close track on your workout routine and your weight loss/muscle gain progress, by recording the numbers in a book or on your phone.

5. Missing Workouts
It is crucial to stick to your workout routine on a daily basis. Missing workout sessions can only hinder your progress and just cause sore muscles and give you no results.

6. Not Having A Plan
It is always important to have a workout plan, in order to attain your fitness goals. You can either talk to your trainer to help you chart-out a fitness plan or you could make one yourself after you decide what works best for you.

7. Wrong Postures
Ensure that you follow your trainer's instructions and correct your postures accordingly while working out. Following wrong postures while exercising can lead to the damage of muscular tissues.
