Nuts are the perfect food for heart patients. They contain only healthy fats that are necessary for the proper functioning of your body and have zero cholesterol. The best part about incorporating nuts into our regular diet is that they are inexpensive and easy to store, so they can be consumed at any time. Nuts act as the perfect snack food, especially for people who have to take special care about their diets.
Nuts develop glycemic control, reduces the danger of heart disease and aid in preventing heart attacks. The functioning of your heart, immune system and arteries are boosted by the monounsaturated or polyunsaturated fats present in nuts. Nuts are also an excellent source of protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals.

Walnuts

Cedar Nuts
