1. Don't Skip Your First Meal Of The Day – There is a popular saying that states “ Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a commoner and dinner like a beggar" so always have a healthy breakfast everyday. Skipping breakfast will have a lot adverse effect on health and may lead to acidity, gastritis, nausea and even obesity etc. Fresh fruits and vegetables with cereal and calcium rich diary products should be a part of your day to day breakfast low fat diet.
2. Eating Small – Always eat less and in regular intervals, having too much at one time may result in excess storage of fat. Eating food as small meals will digest food faster without allowing the fat cells to deposit. The little fat and sugar consumed as a meal will be utilised for energy.
3. Eating Healthy - Every time you feel hungry restrict yourself to fresh fruits and vegetables salads especially water rich as it fills stomach and contains very less calories.
4. Maintain the timings of the meal. Eating food untimely is quite confusing to the system, always begin your day with liquids like a glass of warm water or fruit juice. Liquids de-tox the digestive system and make you feel healthy and active all day long. Water has the power of maintaining blood levels and helps in digesting food.
5. Avoiding junk foods, aerated drinks and having a long hours of sleep will all contribute to good health for working professionals. Try to walk, take stairs before and after meals, avoid using lifts (elevators) at your workplace.
