Diet For Night Shift Working People

Healthy diet of night shift working people:
1. Have a cup of coffee when you feel sleepy or tired. Remember a cup of coffee a day is enough for the night as one cup takes away sleep for 7-8 hours. Coffee refreshes your mind and makes you active again. But remember, one cup only.
2. Carry healthy snacks with you such as vegetables salad, grilled chicken, rice or pasta with low fat cheese and marinara sauce. It controls weight gain and also healthy appetite,
3. Avoid frozen food if possible. Night shift working peoples diet which has frozen foods due to convenience but it is best to avoid as the nutrients and proteins are lost due to freezing. If you are having frozen food, add fresh fruits or vegetables to balance the nutrition level and energize the body.
4. Have excess water to prevent dehydration problems. Due to staying awake late nights, water levels reduce. Therefore, have ample amount of water. It also prevents fatigue.
5. Include vitamin E rich foods to balance glucose levels which provides energy to the body. Nuts are rich in vitamin E. keep almonds, apricots, pine nuts and peanuts everyday and much them whenever hungry.
6. Low fat yogurt, whole wheat muffin with cheese are healthy snacks. Instead of having burgers, have vegetable sandwiches.
7. Night shift working professionals should avoid having food rich in sugar and fat. These make them lazy and also leads to weight gain.
Night shift working people should follow this healthy diet to stay fit and active whole night.
