Bitter Gourd Raita – Best For Diabetes
Although Bitter Gourd is the most bitter vegetable, it can taste the best if prepared in the right way. Bitter gourd or Bitter melon is rich in carbohydrates, potassium and phosphorus. Ingredients:
1.1 cup Curds (Yogurt)
2.1 cup Bitter Gourd (chopped)
3.1 tsp Cumin seeds
4.1 tsp Dhania powder
5.Green chillies chopped
6.Oil for frying
7.Salt to taste
Bitter Gourd Raita Method:
1.Soak the chopped bitter gourd in rice water (rice soaked water) for an hour so that the bitterness is reduced.
2.Dry the soaked bitter gourd in sunlight and fry them in oil.
;3.Sprinkle salt on the fried vegetable.
;4.In a bowl, combine curds, cumin seeds, dhania powder, salt, chopped chillies and add the fried bitter gourd and mix well. Tasty bitter gourd raita ready to serve.
5.Garnish the yummy curd raita with coriander leaves.
