Recipe For Milk Burfi

Milk Burfi
Milk Burfi, one of the most delicious Indian sweets. During any Indian festival you will be served with this yummy sweet. Now you can try this at your house and treat your guests.

Ingredients:

  • Milk – 2 cups
  • Lemon Juice – 2 tsp
  • Milk Powder – 2 tbs
  • powdered Sugar - 3 tbs
  • Ghee – 3 tbs
  • Cardamom Powder – ' tbs
  • Edible Silver Foil – 1 sheet

Method:

  • Heat the milk a little and curdle it by adding lemon juice in it.
  • Tie the curdled milk in a muslin cloth for 3 hours. This will help the milk to turn into cottage cheese.
  • Add milk powder and sugar to the cheese and mix it well.
  • Heat the ghee in a pan and add the cheese mixture.
  • In very low flame stir – fry it until the ghee separates.
  • Now remove it from the stove and add cardamom powder and allow it to cool a bit.
  • Now knead the mixture.
  • Make flat cakes out of this mixture and allow it to cool completely.
  • Cut it into square pieces and fold it in silver foil.

Now serve your guests with this yummy Milk burfi.
