Delicious Aloo Kheer Recipe
This noon lets try something delicious! We here to present Aloo kheer recipe to you. This is also known as potato pudding or sweet potato. Aloo kheer recipe is a sweet dish which is rich in taste and has many nutrients.
Ramazan Sweet: Easy Paneer Gulab Jamun
This is an exotic dish which is very famous during Ramzan time. You can enjoy this recipe along with your meal this afternoon or during your iftar time. It is an easy to make dish which takes very little time to make. Enjoy this aloo kheer recipe with your family.

Serves: 2 - 4
Preparation:10 mins
Cooking Time: 20-30 mins

All You Need
- Potatoes - 2
- Ghee - 4 tsp
- Raisins- 25 gms
- Dry fruits - 25 gms
- Milk - 3 cups
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Cardamom Powder - ½ tsp
- Saffron - few strands
Quick Meetha Samosa Recipe For Iftar
Procedure
- Firstly, peel the potatoes and grate them.
- Wash the grated potato in water to remove its starch.
- Let the potatoes soak in water for a while.
- Add ghee to a pan and heat it. To this, add raisins & cashews and fry until it turns golden brown.
- Remove the raisins and cashews from the pan and keep it aside.
- Remove the grated potato from water and squeeze all the water from it.
- Now roast it in same pan with the remaining ghee.
- Roast the grated potatoes for 2-3 minutes on medium flame until the potatoes turn light brown in colour.
- Make sure you stir constantly so that it doesn't stick to the pan.
- To this mixture add milk and boil it.
- Cook this for next 5 mins or until the desired consistency is reached.
- Add sugar, cardamom powder, raisins and dry fruits to the pan and mix well.
- Garnish this with few strands of saffron.
- Cook for another 5 mins. Your aloo kheer is ready.
Nutritional Tip: Since this is dish is rich is carbs, it is not recommended for people on diet.
Tip: You can make the same recipe with a combo of potatoes and carrot.
