Ramazan Sweet: Easy Paneer Gulab Jamun
Gulab jamun is a sweet dish that is loved by both kids and elders. That brown coloured yummy balls are always a mouth watering dish especially in the month of ramazan. They are easy to make and it can be your first starting dish at your in-laws place (if you are not an expert in making sweet dishes). The ingredients are also very few and the cheese added is very nutritious.
Ramzan Special: Ande ki Mithai
You can relish these yummy gulab jamuns at iftaar time. It will give you quick boost of energy and will supress your hunger till main meal. Here is an easy method to make gulab jamun.

- Cooking time: 30 minutes
- Prepration time: 15 minutes
- serves: 5
- Ingredients
- Dry milk powder: 2 cup
- Suji: 2 Teaspoon
- Egg: 1 large
- Grated paneer or cheese: 1 cup
- Sugar: 1 cup
- Water: two cups
- Baking soda: 1/4th teaspoon
- Oil: for frying

Method of preparation
Boil sugar in the water with continuous stirring to make a thick sugar syrup.
Mix together suji, grated cheese, milk powder and egg to form a thick paste.
Make small balls of this mixture and deep fry them in oil.
Immerse these balls in sugar syrup and leave as such for 20 minutes till they swell up.
Serve hot with tea or coffee.

Nutritional tip: People having high blood sugar (diabetes) can use calorie free sugar to make it healthier. Follow the same method instead of regular sugar, you can use sugar less pills. Dissolve them in water and then immerse the jamuns in that.
