Coconut Ladoo With Condensed Milk Recipe
Any Indian festival is incomplete without sweets. As the Vasant Navratri has started, there are many ways in which you can enjoy every day of the fasting by indulging in some tasty vrat recipes. You can opt to buy sweets from the market. But preparing the sweets at home has its own charm and a personal touch attached to it. So, why not prepare sweets at home while fasting?
Ladoos are a hot favourite of most of the people when it comes to sweets. The best part of ladoos is that they are one of the easiest sweet recipes that you can try. Although there are numerous varieties of ladoos that you can have, Navratri vrat recipes are different.
Devotees who are fasting during Navratri can have the delicious coconut ladoo. This is not the traditional coconut ladoo that is prepared with jaggery or sugar. This Navratri vrat sweet dish is prepared with grated coconut and condensed milk. The thick creamy milk is mixed with grated coconut and then stirred with sugar. Coconut and Milk Ladoo: Navratri Vrat Recipe

Serves: 10-15 ladoos
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
1. Coconut- 2 cups (grated)
2. Condensed milk- 2 cups
3. Sugar- 1 cup
4. Cardamom powder- 1tsp
5. Almonds- 4-5 halved
6. Butter- 1tsp (for greasing palms)
Procedure
1. Boil the condensed milk in a deep bottomed pan. Boil for about 10 minutes.
2. Stir at short intervals to prevent it from sticking on the surface of the pan.
3. Now add the grated coconut and mix well so that the milk is absorbed by the coconut.
4. Boil for another 10-15 minutes on a low flame.
5. Add the sugar and stir. Once the sugar melts, put the pan off flame.
6. Now add the cardamom powder and mix well.
7. Grease your palms with butter and make round ladoos of the mix when it is hot.
Coconut ladoo with condensed milk is ready to eat. Garnish with almonds and serve. You can also store them in air tight containers.
