Tortilla Chips Recipe – Healthy Diabetic Recipe
Ingredients:
1.1 cup corn flour
2.1/2 cup wheat flour
3.1/2 tsp chilli powder
4.1/4 tsp carom seeds or cumin seeds (or any spice of choice)
5.1 tsp oil or (' tsp melted butter)
6.Salt to taste
Method:
1.In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and make it into a soft dough using warm water.
2.Divide the dough into 7 equal portions.
3.Roll the dough on a plastic sheet into a circular disc shape or triangular shape (any shape of choice).
4.Dust the tortillas with flour to make the roll easily and lightly toast it on a heated pan.
5.Preheat oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
6.Place the tortilla pieces on a baking tray and bake it in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes or until crisp and brown. Tasty tortilla chips are ready to serve. Serve the chips hot with sauce or salsa.
