Lobster Tails : Easy Cooking Ways

Are you planning to cook something different this weekend? then how about cooking Lobster tails. Lobster tails are the best ways to celebrate your weekend dinner with partner. People often find it difficult to cook this sea food as overcooking would lead to tough and chewy lobsters. Take a look at the various methods of cooking lobster tails.

1.Boil lobster - When boiling lobsters boil with a pinch of salt and lemon in water and thread the tails onto a skewer to prevent it from bending. Boil lobster until the outer meat is red and the inner meat is white. Remove the shell by splitting it with a sharp knife. It is always best to serve immediately.

2.Steam lobsters - Pressure cook lobsters by placing in a steaming rack. Cook for 5-10 minutes and serve immediately.

3.Cook frozen lobster tails - Do not cook frozen tails in microwave as the outer meat gets cooked while the center portion is still raw. Defrosting is one way to cook frozen meat. Defrost the meat in refrigerator for 9 hours and then rinse meat with cold water.

4.Bake lobsters - If planning to cook in a microwave then it is best to cook the tails by removing the outer shell. Bake the tails with a teaspoon of oil or butter at 15 -20 mins at 350 Degrees F.

5.Grill lobsters - Before grilling it is always advised to cook lobsters for at least 5 minutes and then grill with butter or oil so that the inner meat is baked well with the outer grilling. Grill until the outer meat is red.

Use these above ways for cooking lobster tails and surprise your partner with a special dinner over the weekend.
