Paschimottanasana is considered the prominent among yogasanas to relieve calf muscle cramps. However, theArdha Hanumanasana or Half Front Splits pose is considered the best for pregnancy leg cramps.


This is the easiest of all home remedies for calf muscle cramps. It helps in relaxation to a great extent. Use your forefinger and thumb to pinch the bottom of your lip and squeeze it for 30 seconds. This can get rid of leg cramps very effectively than ever before.

Pregnancy must never be equated to rest, unless in cases when the possibility of a miscarriage is high. One must keep moving around which helps to prevent muscle tightening. Heavy workouts are a complete no-no during pregnancy. So, just a stroll in the park or even inside the house is recommended. One must be careful not to sit and stand for long hours.
