Victor Barrio was the matador who died while playing the game. He was only 29 years old, and belonged to Segovia, Spain.

This unfortunate incident happened on July 9th, 2016 where this young man was killed when live on a TV show!

How The Fight Started…

He incited the bull by waving the muleta. He tried his best to escape the manoeuvring, but unfortunately, the worst happened, as the bull changed its direction!

Wind Ruined The Game…

Victor's cape was blown away by a gust of wind and it gave the bull a chance to hit him in the chest.

Bull's Horn Pierced Through His Chest

The bull's horns struck Victor's chest several times. The bull weighed a whopping 529 kg!! One can imagine the force it had!

He Was Taken Away Immediately

He was transported to the bullring's infirmary immediately, but he was declared dead soon after. The autopsy revealed that Victor's lungs and thoracic aorta were heavily damaged.
