Office Bathroom Rules That Are Ignored!
There are some rules in every office. Rest room etiquette is one of them. Although the office bathroom rules are no different from basic toilet etiquette, it surprising that people do not follow it. Modern conventions require that we have clean and dry toilets both at office and at home. However, if people do not follow the office bathroom rules, it becomes extremely difficult to maintain clean rest rooms.
Your office toilet is used by many people. That is why, it is the responsibility of each and every employee to follow the proper rest room etiquette. However, many people ignore the most basic office bathroom rules. As a result we are left with dirty toilets.

You can have clean toilets in your office only if you contribute to the process of maintaining it yourself. Here are some of the most common office bathroom rules that people tend to flaunt.
Don't Take Too Long
First of all, many people do not realise that a office bathroom is a public toilet, many people need to use it at the same time. So you should cut shot your mobile phone conversations and not read newspapers in the office bathroom. Grow up guys!
Don't Leave Taps Running
Water is a precious resource. And most multi-national companies spend a huge amount of money to buy water during the dry season. So if you want good increments cut down the overhead costs by saving water. It might also do planet Earth some good!
Flush Once Flush Twice
May be you don't intend to leave the toilet unflushed. But sometimes, flushing once is not enough. However many people are too much in a hurry to get back to work and don't look back to check if the toilet is flushed properly. As a result, the next person who goes in gets a disgusting shock!
Wet Floors
You might be at loss to understand this but people do wet the floor of the bathroom in the toilet. We are not aware exactly how people break this office bathroom rule but they do.
Drip Drip Drip
Although it sounds pretty gross to discuss, but leaving drops of water or urine on the toilet seat is bad rest room etiquette. You will know from personal experience that you see people flaunting this rule with surprising regularity.
Indisposed Tissues
Toilet paper can either be flushed into the toilet or be disposed in the dustbin. People just totally ignore this office bathroom rule sometimes. They drop used and sometimes even unused tissue paper on the floor or in the wash basin. There is hardly any excuse to dirty the toilets like this. After all, it a waste of resources and it is unnecessary.
These are some of the office bathroom rules that are ignored most often. Have you seen people violate other rest room etiquette in your office?
