Doctor Thought It Was A Varicose Vein, But…
This looked so much like a varicose vein until the doctor had a closer look at it, in which it was revealed that it was a hook worm in the foot of a man!
Imagine waking up on a fine morning to find out that you have developed a varicose vein out of nowhere and it keeps getting longer and longer in length!
This is what happened in case of a 42-year-old man who did not wish to be named, but was willing to share his story, where a hookworm that looked like varicose vein was inside the foot of a man!

He Went To The Doctor For The Treatment
He feared that the varicose vein was getting severe, as it was wriggling in his foot and it was growing every day by 2 centimeters.

The Doctor Was In A Shock!
The doctor got a shock of his life when he realised that it was not a varicose vein and instead it was an actual hookworm that had embedded in the man's skin.

These Worms Are Also Known As Cutaneous Larva Migrans
According to science, these worms are known as cutaneous larva migrans. It invades the human body when it comes into contact with animal faeces.

It Had Invaded While He Walked Barefoot!
According to the doctor, the worm had apparently invaded the skin of the man when he walked barefoot on a beach and had accidentally stepped on the faeces of an animal!

The Worm Was Successfully Removed!
The doctor removed the worm successfully from the man's foot and this is how his foot looks like after the surgery.
