Jessica Simpson confessed that her weight gain during her tour last year made her feel highly embarrassed.

Simpson who is 29, went on a tour looking tubby in high-waist jeans. Going on stage with a bulged out tummy was like a “public embarrassment."

“I had to get up on stage every night and know people were looking to see whether I was fat," she said.

The singer has been travelling round the world for her new show, The Price of Beauty.
