How To Get Rid Of Most Common Interior Pests?
Termites, ants, spiders, roaches, mosquitoes... the list is lengthy when thinking about indoor pests, the unwanted guests in every houses. No fence can stop them from stepping into houses and no place is at home is unwanted for them. They graze all around your house, they hunt for food where ever you store it. Most of us spent a major part of our lives fighting with them, cursing them but in vain. Terminates can damage your furnitures and pests like spiders could cause some sort of infections. Chasing them away is necessary even though not easy and effective.
There are many ways to take pests out of the hiding places like repellents and pesticides. But the main disadvantage associated with pesticides are most of the repellents and pesticides are equally dangerous to human beings as to pests. There are certain pests preventing chokes commonly used to prevent them, but they too are found less effective. To prevent or destroy pests first of all you should know where pests hide in your house. No matter how clean your house is, insects will eventually find a way inside. Admittedly kitchens are the favourite place of pests as the moisture and warmth of kitchen often attract them. Pay attention to cracks and crevices in your kitchen and you will see number of them. Check the basement before you start your pests hunt. There can be holes through which pests could enter your home.
Once you have done with the job of finding out the hiding places of pests not it is your turn to identify what kinds of pests live in your house. Using a common pesticide or repellent for all of them is not wise and advisable as few of them may survive the commonly used pesticides. Try to focus on each species of pests to wash out them from your premises. Some sprays may affect your pets at home. Therefore if you have pets at home consider them before purchasing any anti-pests elements
. Termidor is a best option to destroy the entire clan of termites. Termidor is not a repellent. Place it where termites have boarded in your house. Upon contact some part of termidor attaches itself to the body of termites and is carried back to their colony. Termidor kills the entire colony so there is no chance of a reinfestation. Even if another colony is established during the swarming seasons, spring and fall, Termidor will still offer protection.
No traps are effective to prevent pests as they are tiny in structure. Roach-killing gels, ant motel, larvae-killing tablet, gopher gasser etc...are few among the common pesticides. Most important is to keep your house clean and dry to not attract pests. Window nets could be used to stop mosquitoes to fly in. never keep household waste inside you kitchen or in rooms. Always dump food waste and other household wasts. The saying that prevention is better than cure is applicable with same effect in case of household pests too.
