1. After One Hour
One hour after you quit, your body kicks into a full-blown detox mode. It helps to clear out the alcohol from the body and from your bloodstream. After you have stopped drinking alcohol, your liver starts working overtime. Insulin is produced by the pancreas, which causes an intense craving for carbs and hence, you feel hungry just after one hour of drinking.
2. After 12-24 Hours
12-24 hours after you have stopped drinking alcohol, your blood sugar finally normalizes. Make sure to satisfy yourself by gorging more on fruits and veggies rather than artificially sugar-rich desserts. Generally, you will feel like eating something sweet, so have some bananas or a smoothie, so that it curbs the hangover and also helps maintain the level of sugar in the body.
3. After 48 Hours

4. After 72 Hours

5. One Week
You start sleeping deeply one week after you quit alcohol, which causes your physical and mental energy to increase. 6. One Month
One month after you've quit drinking, your liver fat reduces by 15%, which increases its ability to filter the toxins from the body. 7. One Year
