Do This When You Are Unable To Breathe Properly
When you are suffering from breathing issues like asthma, COPD or simply finding it tough to breathe, follow some tips.
The body needs oxygen to survive and therefore, breathing is a crucial mechanism. In fact, through breathing, your body tries to balance the ideal levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in your body.
Most of us think that breathing is only to get in oxygen but improper breathing also disturbs the ideal levels of carbon dioxide which is again a problem.
When you are suffering from breathing issues like asthma, COPD or simply finding it tough to breathe, follow these tips and see.

Open The Window
Spending time sitting near an open window may help. In fact, people suffering from asthma need ventilation.
Also, going for a walk and breathing fresh air can also help ease breathing. If you are inside the house, then keep the fan on.

Use Dehumidifier
If the humidity inside the house is too much, then using a dehumidifier may help in breathing properly.

Use The Air Conditioner
Switching the air conditioner on may also help. When the room is filled with hot air, it is tough to breathe. Cool air can be breathed easily. Hot air contains more humidity.

Stay Away From Smokers
Smoke in your surroundings may also cause breathing issues especially if you are already suffering from any lung related issues. Therefore, avoid smoke filled places.

Avoid Soda Water
Even carbonated water may cause breathing issues. Beer and all types of soda water come with carbon dioxide. Such drinks may make it difficult to inhale well and may also cause bloating.

Avoid Bad Air
Pollutants in the air are your enemies if you are suffering from asthma and COPD. Pollen, perfumes, fumes, dust and smoke are bad for your breathing.

Move
When you are unable to breathe properly, you may find it tough to exercise. But regular exercises actually help you breathe well effortlessly as your body finds a way to get more oxygen into the system.

Clear Mucus
If you are unable to breathe properly, clear the mucus from the lungs. Hydrate your body well.

Do Breathing Exercises
If your breathing patterns are weak, it is better to cultivate the habit of meditation and breathing exercises to train your body to breathe well.
