Curd is a rich source of calcium and phosphorus. Hence, it is essential for the maintenance of strong bones and teeth. If you do not want to become a victim of cavities, arthritis and osteoporosis, then make sure to include curd in your daily diet.

Curd has been found to contain good bacteria that help to fight infections and provide a boost to your immune level. These have been found to be helpful in fighting vaginal yeast infections. Hence, women should consume it on a regular basis to keep their vagina free from infections.

3. Good For Heart:
Curd has been found to be great for the heart. It helps to control high blood pressure levels and lower cholesterol levels. Regular consumption of curd has been found to prevent the thickening of arteries. So, make sure you consume a bowl of curd everyday to keep your heart healthy.

4.Good For Digestion:
Curd is great for digestion. Make sure to have a bowl of curd after you have eaten spicy food. The heat from the food is neutralized by the curd that you consume. It is also great in treating peptic ulcers. You can also add these to your curries as heat does not destroy the nutritional benefits of curd.
