The research study further said that drinking even one glass of alcohol per day, be it any type, can increase your risk of cancer by almost 5%!

The types of cancers which are associated with alcohol consumption are breast cancer, liver cancer, oesophageal cancer, head and neck cancer, etc.

Alcohol contains a number of toxins, which can cause the growth of cancerous cells in the body and lead to their abnormal multiplication, thus increasing your risk of developing this dangerous disease.

So, in conclusion, alcohol consumption can surely increase your risk of cancer!
