In men, prostate gland is a walnut-sized gland located just between the urinary bladder and the penis. It surrounds the neck of the bladder and its main function is to produce a fluid called semen. This fluid protects and nourishes the sperm.
During the time of an intercourse, the prostate gland gets squeezed to secrete semen in the urethra at the time of ejaculation, and then along with the sperm, it enters the female reproductive tract.

Red Foods
You must eat red foods such as tomatoes, watermelon, strawberries, etc, to protect yourself from prostate problems. These foods contain an antioxidant called lycopene, which removes the toxins from the body that are responsible in causing prostate cancer.

Peanuts, Soya And Lentils
A study has shown that eating foods rich in isoflavone protects your prostate gland from cancerous growths. You must eat foods rich in that antioxidant, such as chickpeas, soya beans lentils, alfalfa sprouts, peanuts, etc.

Fatty Fish

Avoid Animal Fats
Studies have shown that fats are important for a good overall health, but you must eat the right fats. Eating fats derived from animals must be avoided, as they can cause prostate problems. Eat good fats such as those obtained from olive oil, nuts, avocado, fatty fish, etc.
