Recipe 1:

Ingredients: Baking soda, tea tree oil, peppermint oil and water

The combination of these natural ingredients cleanses and whitens the teeth to a great extent. The peppermint also adds a minty flavour to the mouthwash, making it easier to use.


  • Add 2 teaspoons of baking soda to 2 drops of tea tree oil and 2 drops of peppermint oil.
  • Add warm water to these ingredients in a cup and mix well.
  • You can now use this formula as a mouthwash.
  • Use it twice in a day for best results.

Recipe 2:

Ingredients: Clove oil, cinnamon oil and water

This natural mouthwash leaves your mouth feeling refreshed, with a pleasant odour. In addition, the antibacterial property of these essential oils keeps infections and cavities at bay.


  • Mix 2 teaspoons of both essential oils in some warm water.
  • Take this mixture in a cup and stir well.
  • Your mouthwash is now ready to be used.

Ingredients: Apple cider vinegar and water

  • Mix 3 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and warm water in a cup.

Ingredients: Lemon, glycerin and water
