Are You Having These Breathing Problems? Don’t Ignore Them

A lot of times, we feel ourselves running out of breath. Lack of physical fitness or ageing could be the reason. But whatever it is, breathing problem isn't something we should ignore,as it could be an indication of a serious health problem.

If you see a doctor in case you have breathing problems, then the doctor would ask you about the symptoms you are having and analysing them, he/she would make a diagnosis.

So, here are some of the serious problems concerning breathing which you must never ignore in case you face any. Have a look and do spread the word.


1. Short Breath During Coughing:

If you feelshortofbreath while coughing, it could meanyou are suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is far more serious than simple cough and people suffering from this have inflammed and clogged airways that have reduced capacity. Smoking is the main reason for this disorder,besides air pollution and toxic chemicals. Swelling oftheankles and legs also take placewhen a person suffers fromCOPD.


2. Getting Tired Easily:

Getting tired very easily even when you are active means that your body lacks the necessary requirements. You need iron to help your blood carry oxygen throughout the body and lack of it can leave you with short breath and also pain in the chest. Eat food rich in iron content if you have this problem.


3. Pain In The Chest:

You can experience pain in the chest even if you haven't pulleda muscle. This could be a hint ofa heart ailment. Angina - a situation whereby your heart doesn't get enough blood - can also be a reason for the chest pain after a stressful activity. If your chest pain lasts for more than 15 minutes, go for a medical treatment at once. To avoid getting aheart attack.


4. Shallow Breathing:

If you are having too much anxiety, you can have shallow breaths than normal. If this problem persists for a long time, it can lead to hyperventilation (over-breathing). Handling stress in a proper way becomes very important in that case and you need to take the help of a doctor.


5. Sudden Breathlessness:

If you suddenly experience a shortness ofbreath,despite starting your activity soon, it could hint at some problem in your airways or heart. Shortness of breath can indicate how your heart beats or pumps the blood. Get medical attention at once if you are facing this problem.


6. Whistling Sound:

Whistling sound during breathing also means that your airways have narrowed. The reason could be asthma or any allergic reactionwhich you will have to get checked at the earliest.
