There are certain healthy things to do before breakfast. In fact, starting your day in a healthy way sets a different tone and mood for the rest of the day.

If you wake up in a bad mood and continue to be like that for sometime, you may affect the mood of others around you. In fact, you may spoil others' day too.

But if you can set your moning routine in such a way that you feel grounded and stable, your day will take off well. Though certain things seem simple, following them everyday isn't easy.

A new study claims that people who have a great morning routine tend to perform well in their jobs and also enjoy overall health. Also, when it comes to feeling positive for the whole day, your morning ritual helps a lot.

So, here are a few things to do before breakfast. Try them daily.


Drink Water

Soon after getting up, the best thing to do is drink water. You can add lemon or ginger or turmeric or honey to water to enhance its detoxifying effect. If you don't want to mix anything, at least drink plain water. It offers its own advantages.



After you finish brushing your teeth, gently stretch your body to stimulate the circulatory system and get the body ready for the day.



It is good to schedule your workouts in the morning so that you will feel energetic when you reach your office.



Bathing after a meal isn't good for digestion. So, ensure that you shower before your breakfast.



Meditation in the morning cleanses your mind and keeps it stable. In fact, your mind will be more receptive in the morning.


Play With Your Pet

If you have a dog, you can take it out for a walk and play with him. Your mood gets a boost when you spend your morning with your pet.


Make Love

A new study says that morning love making has many health benefits. Try it once and see how great you'll feel for the rest of the day.
