Drinks You Should Stop Buying
There are certain drinks that you should banish from your life right away. These drinks have been known to cause harm to your body and mind in a number of ways. Read on to know more about these drinks and how they can cause serious health issues in the long run.
Energy drinks have become very popular nowadays and are being consumed by numerous people. People who drink it on a regular basis may finally feel its undesirable adverse effects in the long run. Initially, most energy drinks do not cause major health problems.

Adverse effects that can be felt in the long run are insomnia, stomach aches, tremors, blood sugar spikes, energy crashes and an increase in heart rate and respiration speed.
The sugar-free variants are the worst than the regular ones since they contain sugar substitutes. The most typical sugar substitute found in energy drinks is sucralose. Sucralose is a sugar substitute that can be toxic for the body. Some scientists even claim that sucralose can increase the potential risk of degenerative brain diseases.

Energy drinks usually contain inexpensive synthetic minerals and vitamins and synthetic chemicals. In addition, they contain a number of energy blends like taurine, herbs and caffeine. The herbs should not cause major health problems, but some herbs may have strange adverse effects when mixed with some other chemicals.
The minerals and vitamins found in most energy drinks are cheaply made and artificial. Artificial minerals and vitamins are more stable than their natural variation, that is the reason why manufacturers like to use these.

Energy drinks normally contain lots of water soluble vitamins, like B vitamins and vitamin C. Water soluble vitamins dissolve rapidly in liquid; therefore, it is useless to add them to products. For that reason, whenever you consume energy drinks you're basically consuming a drink that's full of empty calories.
Stop drinking flavoured coffee. Along with flavouring agents, these contain emulsifiers, preservatives and solvents that are harmful for the body. Diet soda is equally bad as it has huge amounts of sugar and the sugar-free ones are even more harmful as these contain sugar substitutes.
Avoid drinking sweetened non-dairy milk like nut milks as these are high in sugar content. Go for the unsweetened ones. Also avoid drinking bottled smoothies and fruit juices as these contain high levels of sugar.
