Causes Of Back Pain
Back pain can be caused due to several reasons. This article deals with few of the common causes of back pain.
Most of us have suffered from back pain sometime or the other. It is a condition that can be caused by a number of factors. Back pain may be caused by overuse, muscle strain, or harm to the muscles, structures, and disks that support your spine.
Conditions that create pressure on the spinal nerves also may cause pain. This happens when the cartilage that cushions the little facet joints in the backbone stops working. When this happens, the back bones rub together and cause injury and pain.

You can also get back pain when there is a fracture of the vertebrae, which may happen when a lot of force is put on the backbone. This force might be from a car or bicycle accident or an immediate blow to the backbone.
A compression fracture happens when an accident to the bones in the backbone causes them to break and fall on one another. In people who have osteoporosis, which makes the bones fragile and weak, simply walking in the wrong manner or an injury from a fall can also cause back pain.
An odd shaped vertebral column, like with scoliosis or kyphosis can cause back pain. Whenever you look at a regular vertebral column from the back, it is usually straight. When an individual has scoliosis, the backbone curves from side to side, frequently in an S or C shape.

When an individual has kyphosis, the upper vertebral column is rounded and looks like a hump. This happens when one among the little, spongy discs that cushion your vertebral column bulges or breaks open and presses on the nerves in the spinal column.
A herniated disc can be due to normal wear and tear of the disk as you age. Or it might be brought about by an activity that you do again and again that causes lots of vibration or movement or by a sudden heavy pull or elevated force to your back.
In many cases, a herniated disk occurs in the low back or neck. It may happen in the top or middle back; however, this is rare. This causes immense back pain.
