It has acetic acid which helps in breaking down the stone and its pain-healing properties provide relief during the sharp pain.

Kidney Beans
Kidney beans commonly known as Rajma contain some compound that is beneficial for the overall well-being of the kidney. Ayurveda recommends treating kidney and bladder-related problems.

You can add kidney beans to your diet. You can increase the intake of kidney beans by way of consuming it as a gravy or in salads.

Coconut Water
Coconut water is extremely beneficial for those suffering from kidney-related problems. We recommend consuming coconut water every day to flush out the kidney stones through urine.

Drinking coconut juice 4-5 times in a day on an empty stomach will help you in getting rid of the kidney stone. Drink 30 minutes before lunch or dinner for the ideal benefits.

Ayurvedic remedies for kidney stones

The bark of mehendi is recommended in Ayurveda to treat kidney stones. One can make a decoction of its bark to treat kidney stones effectively.

Make a decoction using mehendi bark and 12 parts of water. Take it 2-3 times (20-30 mL) in a day to cure kidney stones.

Pashanabheda literally means stone which breaks. It is named as such due to the stone-breaking quality that it has. It literally breaks the stone that grows in. Ayurveda prescribes using this herb for breaking down the kidney stones.

Ayurvedic remedies for kidney stones

Kulthi Dal
Ayurveda also recommends the use of kulthi dal to treat renal calculus, commonly known as kidney stones. Regular usage of kulthi dal leads to the breakage of the stone and expels it from the body.

A decoction using 25 mL of kulthi dal and 200 mL of water should be boiled till the water reduces to 50 mL. Consume this twice every day to remove the stones from the kidney.
