How many of you take a walk after lunch? We are sure, plenty of you! But, did you know this is one of the many unhealthy things to do right after eating!
According to experts, our digestive system is strong enough to take in whatever we consume during lunch or even after any meal.

The system has the capability to digest the food properly, absorbing all the essential nutrients and giving you energy in return.
But, at the same time, our digestive system is also sensitive and cannot perform its function if obstructed by anything. Hence, here are a few things not to do after lunch.
When you are done with a meal, it is better to sit out and relax for at least 15 to 20 minutes.

Brushing Teeth
Brushing your teeth is one of the things not to do after lunch. If you have eaten something citric, the enamel will easily be rubbed off from your teeth due to the brushing.

Too Much Water
The other thing not to do after eating is drinking lots of water. This will disrupt the digestion process and will lead to stomach ailments like an upset tummy.

Lighting A Cigarette
The blood circulation in the digestive system is high after eating. When you smoke, the ingredients from the cigarette is absorbed and thus leads to further damage to lungs & kidneys.

Taking A Walk
During a walk after eating is one of the many things not to do after lunch as it will make it difficult for the digestive system to absorb the nutrients from the food.

If you exercise after eating, it will affect the body's metabolism by decreasing the blood flow and causing difficulty in digesting the nutrients from the food. This is one of the worst things to do after lunch.

Avoid Fruits
One of the many things not to do after eating is enjoying a bowl of fruits. Eating fruits after eating will fill the stomach with air and cause bloating.

Taking A Swim
It is advisable to take a swim before lunch and not after as it will only lead to poor digestion, making you feel nauseous.

Climbing Stairs
Try not to climb a flight of stair post eating as it will weaken the digestive juices in the stomach causing acidity.
